On Friday, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, a Democrat Representative from New York State was heckled during her Town Hall.

A protester shouted, “I’m a healthcare worker. I want to know how you are dealing with the genocide taking place in Gaza!”

Fox News reported

Shortly after the event began, a hysterical demonstrator yelling “genocide” was committed in Gaza.

Ocasio-Cortez began her speech by pulling up a PowerPoint for the event. She was interrupted before she had even finished her first slide, which discussed the Trump administration’s cuts in budget and alleged cuts made to local healthcare systems.

The protester shouted at the congresswoman, “I’m a healthcare worker. I want to know how you are dealing with the genocide taking place in Gaza!”

“Shame! Shame! “Shame!” shouted the audience at the disruptor. There were also a few “boos”.

She also claimed that she once supported AOC.

The protester told me, “You are a war crime! War criminal! War criminal! “I used to support you!”

New York Post reported

“You’re a war criminal! War criminal! She yelled “War criminal” as she left the auditorium.

Ocasio Cortez’s response to the outburst was tempered after a semblance order had been restored.

She said, “I welcome anyone who disagrees with me or is super angry at me about any topic, but there are some ground rules.”
