Conspiracy theorists are assumed to be doomsday-preppers, paranoid outliers, or even your crazy uncle who spends too much time in the basement.

Conspiracy is defined as a group of people planning to do something unlawful or harmful. You have just described every government, banking institution, most media outlets and billions of people on Earth. Conspiracy is corruption. Corruption exists. If people don't understand that corruption exists they're a moron and deserve what they get. If you believe the solution is to elect a new leader or party and that somehow things are magically going to improve, good luck with that, let me know how it works out..

Otherwise, check out the video 'Mark Passio – Stop Being Immoral Trash – Quit Your Government Job' on youtube

Now I know why so many thumbs down , VACCINES CAUSE AUTISM CONSPIRACY , the fact is the company producing them just admitted there's a link, and of course there is , hundreds, no , thousands , tens of thousands of people in the field working for pharma have come out with speeches against MMR vaccine causing autism, as soon as I heard the part about vaccines lead to autism conspiracies I hit the thumbs down

YOU NEED TO REDO YOUR VIDEO AND CUT THAT OUT, THIS SHOULD NO LONGER BE CONSIDERED A CONSPIRACY , WHAT DO YOU NEED FOR PROOF A LITTLE KID TO FINALLY SPEAK UP AND SAY I FELT NORMAL AND AFTER TAKING SHOT 2 WEEKS LATER IT FUCKED ME UP AND NOW I'M DROOLING IN THE CORNER , THEN STOPS TALKING AGAIN AND GOES AUTISM MODE FOR LIFE , YEAH WHAT MORE PROOF DO YOU NEED BESIDES THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THEM ADMITTING YES AUTISM IS CAUSED BY VACCINES, HOW FUCKED UP IS THAT, SO WHEN YOU HAD YOUR KIDS VACCINATED AND THEY MADE YOU SIGN A FORM STATING YOU WOULDN'T SUE THE PHARMA COMPANY IF SOMETHING GOES HORRIBLY WRONG, DID YOU THINK IT WAS INNOCENT OF THEM TO COVER THEIR ASSES LIKE THAT RIGHT IN YOUR FACE? PLEASE PHARMA ISN'T YOUR FRIEND , THEY COVERED THEIR ASSES FOR A SPECIFIC REASON, IF YOUR KID IS FUCKED UP WITH AUTISM THEN YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

Dimming The Sun’ Could Be A Viable Way To Reduce Climate Change, Says New Research

It may sound a lot like science fiction, but new research suggests that
human beings may be able to “dim the sun” to reduce the effects of
climate change on Earth. CNN
reports that a new study from researchers at Harvard and Yale claims
that a process called stratospheric aerosol injection could slash global
warming by 50 percent.

Don't believe anything you hear on YT… How I have studied both conspiracy theories and actual conspiracies done by intelligence services and all the absurd secret programs they had during the cold war in particular, like MKultra and other LSD-tests, nuclear testing in the Pacific and then moving a population back to a radioactive island to study the effects of lethal radiation on a random population of powerless brown people. How they have overthrown democratically elected leaders and put dictators in their place, supported by death squads having gotten their education in the School of Americas. Not to mention how the NSA is monitoring and storing all data about everyone by default, how the American population has been lured into war, most of the times by lies and propaganda or at best half-truths. Etc. All this will give a deep feeling of distrust, knowing for example that Obama For America won an advertising prize, that normally would go to Apple, Nike or similar. Public Relations is a word that replaced "Propaganda", since the word, after having been used openly by the Germans, was not popular anymore. How whistleblowers are coming out, ruining their career, but at least keeping their soul. There are several instances where the rich and powerful meet in secret and not mentioned by media, like the Bilderberger Group, that is a who's who of the rich and powerful, according to Noam Chomsky they meet to figure out how to reduce the power of the masses and get more political control, or the Trilateral Commission or the Council on Public Relations. Etc. Everyone knows that politicians lie, everyone knows there are schemes, espionage and aggressive acts of war done to gain dominion of the world. Or Full Spectrum Dominance as the "military-industrial complex" calls it. It's also questionable that for example both Kerry and Bush had been at the same secret society at Yale, how most presidents have connections to the masons, another secret society. And Alex Jones got his big break in life after he managed to sneak into the Bohemian Grove and film another secret gathering by politicians, doing mock-human sacrifices to an enormous owl statue, a ritual called "The Cremation of Care"

So in my opinion "conspiracy theories" often contain a real worry that the state cannot be trusted to do what is good for the people it is supposed to serve, nor tell the truth, but are instead sold to Wall Street, and often try to explain things, especially obvious lies and might contain facts that are too controversial and not publicly verified, so is communicated through channels like Youtube or blogs or other social platforms to those that want to figure out what is REALLY going on in the world. This is misused and turned into profit by people like Icke and Jones and many others that see a big $-sign by being "prophets" of conspiracy, that present things they in turn know are BS, but people trust the government so little, that they rather believe outlandish explanations of it. Or because the media have lied on the behalf of the white house before, Trump has cleverly turned the mistrust toward the media into the conspiracy theory "fake news" (if Donald disagree, it is fake, seem to be the logic, even while not being logical) that are less and less independent and more and more bought up by a few ultra-rich corporations that naturally want their agenda to be promoted. After Vietnam the powers in Washington knew that media was a threat to their power, and blamed reporters for the loss, and have done away with much of it, that's why there's a sub-culture on Youtube that doesn't buy anything being told on the TV or in the Papers, but rather tries to figure out what to really believe by truly independent sources on internet.

There's a reason why the worlds most renowned names among intellectuals, dissidents, leftists, radicals and activists are talking only to RT news or Al-Jazeera etc. Because they don't get any time from the established media in the US, since they tell the truth, and the truth is not the domain of politicians. Presidents have to be figureheads with good acting abilities, doing the job for those that really have the ability to put them into power. For example, Obama and his "Change and Hope", must have made the world left with as little hope as possible when he actually was just another Bush, only more extreme, in how he nourished the super-rich and expanded upon Big Brother.

Why are they popular? Because people dont understand falsifiability. They have preconceived notions that they cling to and sometimes adapt to fit a larger narrative or preconceived beliefs. Evidence doesnt matter to them.

+++ How many conspiracy theories does one have to get correct before one becomes a whistleblower? So why do we humans allow the "They Live" Aliens to do this? We Hu-mans 2.0 need to fight for our right to survive. Survival of the fittest or THEY win through Hybridization .

I'll bet those at the Huffington Post still believe the official story of the Gulf of Tonkin incident.
In fact, I'll even bet they still "Remember the Maine" and are to this day angry over the torpedoing of the innocent Lusitania.

"Powerful people never get together and plan things.

Only governments in other countries do terrible sneaky things.

We are too smart for that stuff here."

I mean, it's like thinking that Brittain would put 1200 passengers into a ship carrying munitions and send it through hostile waters just to get the U.S. to join in on a war. And that the secret would only be revealed 100 years later because of divers.

Preposterous.

Joseph is a loser. He just came up with a conspiracy that losers make up conspiracies to motivate their base.
That's exactly what he's doing for the dying msm.

The real reason people believe in conspiracy is because throughout history there have been people conspiring and countless coups.
