Ask yourself, what is the purpose for an email? It’s basically an online mailbox. So when yahoo (now teamed up with AOL to form Oath), can now take your information, read your emails and send you ad information based on it, the question is now easy to pose: is this right? Is this misleading? On one hand, for businesses, this is a boon.
Another way to get your products into the consumer eye. But for consumers it would be as if someone took your mail, read it, then decided to send you stuff because of it. This further adds to the already barren black hole that is the hope for privacy in America. So is this right; is this misleading? You be the judge
