Kristi Noem, Secretary of Homeland Security at the Department of Homeland Security, announced on Thursday that more than 220 illegal immigrants were arrested in the Hoosier State thanks to ICE and the Indiana State Police’s 287(g).
More than 40 of those arrested had Commercial Driver’s Licenses. Illinois, California and New York, all sanctuary states, issued the most Commercial Driver’s Licenses.

Tom Homan, Trump’s border czar, told Axios: “If you are in the United States without permission, you are not off the hook.”
Tom Homan, the border czar for President Trump, said that ICE will deport over 600,000 undocumented migrants by the end of this year. He made the statement at the Future of Defense Summit hosted by Axios on Wednesday.
Why it matters: This estimate comes at a time when the Trump administration has claimed that approximately 1.6 millions undocumented migrants have “voluntarily” deported themselves, and an additional 400,000 people were deported during the first 250 days in Trump’s second tenure.
Homan said to Axios reporter Brittany Gibson, “If we find and arrest you, you are not off the hook.”
Homan: 70% of those arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement are criminals. The other 30-35% are national security threats with no criminal history.
