Donald Trump has won a series of temporary victories at the Supreme Court, thanks to the Supreme Court.

According to the White House the number of wins is 21.

Fox News reported:

The Supreme Court’s emergency docket has been almost perfect for President Donald Trump this year. This has provided the government with crucial relief as it battles hundreds of lawsuits that challenge the president’s agenda.

The Supreme Court ruled in Trump’s favor in a number of areas, including government cuts, injunctions nationwide, immigration policies, and more. This led the White House, which recently counted 21 victories in front of the high court, to boast about it.

These victories, however, are temporary. The new term that begins on Monday will give the justices the opportunity to weigh the merits of certain court disputes, and ultimately cement or undo important parts of Trump’s agenda.

In a new term beginning Monday, the Supreme Court will hear some of the most explosive cases.

AP reported:

The Supreme Court begins a monumental term on Monday, with the major tests of presidential powers and pivotal cases relating to voting rights and LGBTQ people on the agenda.

…

In early November, the justices will hear a case that is pivotal to Trump’s economic agenda as they examine the legality of some of his broad tariffs. Two lower courts found that the Republican president did not have the authority to unilaterally impose sweeping tariffs in accordance with an emergency powers act.

…

In December, the Supreme Court will review Trump’s authority to dismiss independent agency employees at will. This case will likely lead to the court overturning or narrowing a 90-year old decision. Before a president can remove Senate-confirmed official from their job, he must have a reason, such as neglect of duty.

…

A case has been brought before the court, but it has not yet been considered. It involves Trump’s executive orders denying citizenship to children who were born in the United States of parents in the country temporarily or illegally.
