Americans have no faith in Democrats
According to a recent poll, 62% of respondents believe that Republicans will prevail in the shutdown battle.

According to Harvard-Harris, a staggering 62% of Americans believe that Republicans and President Trump are going to win the battle against government shutdown. Only 38% of Americans think Democrats will.

Harvard-Harris’ survey found that a majority of registered voters think Republicans will prevail in the shutdown battle.
In the survey, respondents were asked: “Which do you believe will win the shutdown of the government — the Democrats or Republicans?”
Overall, 62 per cent of respondents said that Republicans would win the fight against the government shutdown, while only 38 per cent expressed confidence in the Democrats’ victory.
Republicans are confident of their victory — 92 per cent — and most Independents (62%) also think so.
The majority of Democrats think they can win the battle of the shutdown, despite the fact that Democrats refuse to accept the current COVID-era subsidy levels. This has turned this battle into a battle over healthcare, which Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), said was misleading by the Democrats.

The Democrats have sacked the United States Government in the middle of one of our country’s most successful economies, with a record stock market. It has affected many services and programs that Americans depend on. This should never have happened. I’m happy to work with Democrats on their failed healthcare policies or anything else. But first, they need to allow our Government to open. They should actually open our Government today!
