The data shows that the Trump Administration has deported more Nicaraguan migrants in the last two years than the Biden administration combined.
According to a report in Sunday’s Confidencial, the administration of Donald Trump deported a greater number of Nicaraguan migrants over the first nine-month period of 2025 compared to 2024 and 2023.
Confidencial reported that the United States had deported 6,095 Nicaraguans from January to September, citing information shared by a spokesperson for the U.S. State Department who declined to be named.
Citing statistics from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the outlet detailed that Nicaragua had already deported 52 percent more people this year than in 2024, when 3,996 were deported. This is three times the number of 2,020 who were deported in 2023.
Confidencial cites the information of an unnamed State Department spokesperson that a total of 6,016 Nicaraguans have been deported from 2023 to 2024. This is a lower number than the 6,095 Nicaraguans deported by September 30, according to Confidencial.
In November 2025, border crossings reached a new low.
Only 30,367 encounters were reported in the United States, compared to 30,573 in Oct.
This was the seventh consecutive month that no illegal aliens were released into the United States.
