Fraud scandals in Minnesota are growing.
Kash Patel, FBI director, revealed that the FBI was investigating fraud even before recent revelations.
Patel stated, “The FBI has been made aware of recent social-media reports in Minnesota.” Even before the online conversation became more intense, the FBI sent personnel and investigators to Minnesota in order to combat large-scale fraud schemes that exploit federal programs.
CASE UPDATE MINNESOTA FRAUD SCHEMME
The FBI has been made aware of social media reports from Minnesota. Even before the online conversation became more heated, the FBI sent personnel and investigators to Minnesota in order to stop large-scale fraud schemes that exploit federal programs. Frauds that steal from taxpayers or rob vulnerable children are a priority for the FBI in Minnesota and across the country.
The FBI has so far dismantled an illegal fraud scheme worth $250 million that stole federal aid for food meant for children in need during COVID. The investigation revealed sham companies, shell vendors and massive money laundering linked to the Feeding Our Future Network.
The case resulted in 78 convictions and 78 indictments. The defendants included Abdiwahab Ahmed Mohamud and Ahmed Ali. They were also Asha Farhan hassan, Ousman camara, Asha Farhan and Hussein Farah.
They not only committed historic fraud but also attempted to subvert the justice. Abdimajid Mohamed Nur, along with others, were accused of attempting to bribe an unnamed juror by paying $120,000 cash. The guilty parties were sentenced to a 10 year prison term, as well as nearly $48,000,000 in restitution.
FBI is of the opinion that this is only the tip. This investigation will continue. We will follow the money, protect children and keep this investigation going.
Many are referred, if eligible, to immigration officials for further denaturalization or deportation procedures.
Tim Walz has responded to reports of fraud.
Fox News spokesperson said, “The Governor has been working for years to crackdown on fraud and asked the state legislature for greater authority to take aggressive actions.”
Tim Walz’s team released a Fox statement from an anonymous “spokesperson” after @nickshirleyy’s mega-viral video exposed Somali “childcare fraud.”

Tim Walz spoke out about the Minnesota fraud scandal after a viral video revealed a daycare center that was empty with a sign misspelled and received millions of dollars in federal funding.
Just hours after FBI chief Kash Patel said the crisis was deeper than first thought, the Minnesota governor announced he would take strong action to combat the alleged fraud.
A spokesperson for Walz said that the governor had worked hard for years to combat fraud and asked for more authority from the state legislature to take aggressive actions.
He has increased oversight, including investigations into specific facilities – one of which had already been closed.
