Venezuela has released a large number of political prisoners in a show of “seeking peace.” This is an important and intelligent gesture. The U.S.A., Venezuela, and other countries are working together well, particularly in rebuilding their oil and natural gas infrastructure, which is much larger, better and more modern. Due to this collaboration, I’ve cancelled the second wave of attacks that was expected. It looks like they won’t be necessary. However, all ships will remain in place for security and safety reasons. Trump attacked Republicans who voted along with Democrats in support of the War Powers Act.
Republicans should be ashamed of Senators who voted along with Democrats to try to remove our powers to defend and fight for the United States of America. Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski Rand Paul Josh Hawley and Todd Young shouldn’t be re-elected to office. This vote greatly hinders American Self Defense and National Security and impairs the President’s Authority in his role as Commander-in-Chief. Regardless of their “stupidity,” I have heard from all presidents and their departments of justice that the War Powers Act violates Article II of our Constitution. Next week, the Senate will vote on this important issue.
