A cat owner from the United Kingdom has left the internet in stitches after sharing a video of their cat putting a baby car seat she found outside to good use.
The hilarious video, shared on TikTok on Wednesday, under the username @callmesheydaaa, shows the gray cat sitting on the abandoned baby car seat she found in the street, as she grooms her fur nonchalantly.
Not only does the cat seem unbothered by whose chair it is and what it’s supposed to be used for, she also looks upset at her owner disturbing her while she’s enjoying her new find, giving them what some users in the comments described as the “who the *** you lookin’ at” stare.
“Cats know a lot,” said the caption shared along with the now viral video.

Cats are known for their love for tight spaces, and a baby car seat is just about the size of a cat. But while their love for small spaces may not make sense to us as their owners, they do have their reasons for this preference.
Cat wellness experts at Catster, explain that in the wild, cats used to look for crevices and holes to use as hiding spots when stalking and ambushing prey. While domestic cats don’t need to hunt, their natural instincts can still kick in.
Tight spaces also make cats feel safe and secure in the wild, with hidden and confined areas providing a safe haven from potential predators. Tight spaces also give them warmth, which they constantly seek.
The video quickly went viral on social media, getting viewers from across TikTok. It has so far received more than 275,400 views and 41,500 likes on the platform.
One user, Neelamzahid62, commented: “Smokey is our family cat from Sheffield. He’s known to the local community as very friendly and loves attention. We have people come from many areas to see Smokey on his throne.”

Another user, Salum68, commented: “I know this cat very well he’s so cute. He used to visit my cat every day, but now doesn’t venture from his throne.”
