Donald Trump announced he had reached an “historic agreement” (accord) with Columbia.
Trump announced the agreement, thanking Columbia for “accepting to do what’s right.” I am looking forward to seeing them have a wonderful future in our Country. Maybe greater than ever!
I am happy to announce that President Trump has reached an historic agreement with Columbia University. Columbia University has agreed to pay $200 million dollars to the United States Government as a penalty for violating Federal Law. In addition, they will also pay over $20 million to their Jewish employees that were illegally harassed and targeted. Columbia has also agreed to end their ridiculous DEI policy, admitting only students based on MERIT and protecting their Civil Liberties on campus. Many other Higher Education Institutions, which have been unfair, unjust and spent federal funds in an incorrect manner, including money from our government, will be coming up. It is an honor to be involved in this deal, and I would like to thank and congratulate all those who helped us. Columbia University is also to be commended for doing the right thing. I am looking forward to seeing them have an amazing future in this country, perhaps greater than any before!
They accepted a list from the Trump Administration.
The federal government will receive $200 million in exchange for restoring most of the funding cut by the Trump administration.
Just in — Columbia University has submitted its request to the Trump Administration, after trying to do it on their own for 4 months without receiving huge amounts of taxpayer money. Columbia University has agreed to the following:
Stop all illegal discrimination based on race in hiring and admissions.

The federal government will receive $200 million from Columbia University to restore funding cut by the Trump Administration over accusations that it had violated antidiscrimination laws.
In a press release, acting University President Claire Shipman stated that “this agreement marks an important forward step after a sustained period of federal scrutiny and institution uncertainty.”

Columbia agreed to the list of demands made by the Trump Administration, which was seen by some as a concession by the private institution.
Columbia stated in a statement on Wednesday that the agreement will restore “the vast majority of federal grants that were terminated or suspended in March 2025 and Columbia’s ability to access billions of dollars of current and future grant money.”
Columbia University will also send $20 million to Jewish employees that were discriminated and end “all programming which discriminated faculty or students – bringing it in full compliance with Supreme Court 2023 ruling banning race-based discrimination — and create some yet to be announced faculty positions, all for the sake of increasing intellectual diversity.
The settlement, which stipulates that Columbia will submit to independent monitoring in order to ensure compliance with merit-based hiring requirements and admissions criteria, is likely put pressure on other colleges, such as Harvard, who have been criticized by the White House for tolerating extreme Jew hatred on campus following the attack of Hamas on Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.

Columbia, in addition to paying the feds 200 million dollars to settle their claims of discrimination, will also pay more than 20 million dollars to Jewish employees who have been discriminated against during fierce antisemitic protests following the Hamas attacks.
The Trump administration touts the sum paid to the employees as the largest settlement in public history and the most for any victim of a Title VI complaint.
The Ivy League has also agreed that it will end all programs that discriminate against faculty and students — making the school fully compliant with the Supreme Court decision of 2023 banning race-based positive action — as well as create some positions for faculty in the name a broader intellectual diversity.
