Doctor says postpartum depression is never the mother’s fault, amid new study

A new study suggests that postpartum depression is linked to changes in the brain during pregnancy. Of the 88 mothers examined, 11% showed moderate depression symptoms during late pregnancy, and 17% experienced postpartum depression.
