The DOJ has requested to meet with Ghislaine Maxiwell.

Todd Blanche, Deputy Attorney-General, said in a press release, “Therefore I have, on the instruction of Attorney General Bondi contacted the counsel for Ms. Maxwell, to determine if she would be willing speak to prosecutors from the Department. I expect to meet with Ms. Maxwell within the next few days.

Justice demands courage. The Department of Justice reaches out to Ghislaine to ask her: What do you know? On the direction of @AGPamBondi, I have contacted her lawyer. I plan to meet her shortly. No one is above law, and no lead is off limits. https://t.co/3IZh9viI7i

@DAGToddBlanche: Statement

The Department of Justice is not afraid to face uncomfortable truths or pursue justice no matter what the facts might be. The joint statement of the DOJ and FBI from July 6 is as accurate as when it was first written. In particular, the FBI’s recent review of all the files in the Epstein investigation revealed no evidence that would justify an investigation into uncharged parties.

The President has ordered us to release any credible evidence. The FBI and DOJ are interested in hearing from Ghislane Maxiwell if she has any information on anyone who has perpetrated crimes against victims.

On the instruction of Attorney General Bondi I have contacted the counsel for Ms. Maxwell in order to find out if she is willing to meet with prosecutors at the Department. I expect to meet with Ms. Maxwell within the next few days. No administration, on behalf of the Department, had asked her about meeting with the Government until now. This has changed now.

Maxwell was found guilty of sex-trafficking in 2021.

The Hill reported

Maxwell was a longtime Epstein associate who was convicted of sex-trafficking in 2021 and sentenced 20 years to prison. Maxwell asked the Supreme Court earlier this year to review her case. The Justice Department had pressured the court to dismiss that appeal.
