Sasquatch, or big foot, a legendary ape-like beast, has allegedly been spotted all over the United States. Ford Bronco sport utility vehicles (SUVs) equipped with the Sasquatch Package are also able to be seen throughout the country.

Today, Ford announced that it will be giving away a Bronco Ultimate Sasquatch Searcher vehicle, a one-of-a-kind take on the traditional Bronco model, as part of a contest.

The customized Bronco starts life as a two-door 2024 Ford Bronco Badlands and comes equipped with the company’s Sasquatch Package. That model is primed for off-roading with an electronic locking front and rear axle, front stabilizer bar disconnect, 17-inch gloss black aluminum wheels and a high clearance suspension and fender flares.

It is powered by a turbocharged 2.3-liter, four-cylinder engine, which is paired with a seven-speed manual transmission.

This unique build also includes:

  • A tree camoflauge exterior wrap
  • 35″ mud-terrain tires with beadlock-capable wheels
  • A roof-mounted lightbar with hood-mounted light pods
  • Front and rear-facing dash cams
  • Custom upholstered interior
  • An awning and custom camping chairs
  • A unique console badge and sill plates
  • And a custom Sasquatch badge and puddle light.

The equipment helps the Bronco blend in to the scenery and spot potential Sasquatches at night.

To win the Bronco Ultimate Sasquatch Searcher SUV, contestants will need to crack a code via a social media contest. Specific details of the contest can be found on the @FordBronco Instagram feed.

The winner of the Bronco will be able to drive it to destinations such as The Sasquatch Outpost (Bailey, Colorado) or Expedition Bigfoot (Blue Ridge, Georgia).

To some, a Sasquatch sighting may seem far fetched, but for many they are a reality. Website ArcGIS.com tracks such sightings across the country, with Florida, the Pacific Northwest and middle America serving as sighting hotspots.

Recent reporting indicates that these sightings may not be mythical in nature, and instead can be down to a familiar creature: the black bear. Those bears have been found to have the ability to walk upright, and often do so when injured.

A black bear standing on its back legs is far larger than the average human and can measure 8-9 feet tall, according to the National Park Service. That’s also taller than the height of the Ford Bronco.

In addition to the traditional Ford Bronco offerings, Ford will sell the refreshed 2025 Ford Bronco Sport SUV with a Sasquatch Package when it comes to market in early 2025.
