California Gov. Gavin Newsom protested this week against an Immigration and Customs Enforcement raid in his state that allegedly found child labor on a marijuana plantation.
Newsom posted a video showing the raid and called President Donald Trump “real scum”, for enforcing law.
CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott has blasted Gavin Newsom, and revealed that “ten juveniles were discovered at this marijuana plant – all illegal immigrants, eight of them unaccompanied.” The marijuana facility is now being investigated for child labor violations.”
This is a shocking news item: 10 minors were discovered at this marijuana plant – all illegal immigrants, and 8 of them without accompaniment. The marijuana facility is now being investigated for child labor violations.

Customs and Border Protection commissioner Rodney Scott announced on Thursday that federal agents discovered ten minors who were living in the United States without permission during raids on marijuana farms in Southern California.
The raids were conducted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, who were accompanied by National Guard soldiers, at two locations run by Glass House Farms. This is a cannabis-growing facility licensed by the state.
The first facility is located in Carpinteria in Santa Barbara County, about 90 miles north of Los Angeles. Camarillo is a small community in Ventura County, about 50 miles away from Los Angeles.
