A dog’s reaction to his owners bringing home a new pet has left viewers online in stitches.

Bruno, a Great Dane, was captured having his patience tested by his new sibling Luna, also a Great Dane, who possesses an abundance of energy.

Their owner shared a short video to Instagram under @__d0ubletr0uble of Luna being welcomed into the family to mitigate Bruno’s loneliness.

The clip, which was shared to the platform on July 16, has been viewed more than 1.7 million times and has been especially relatable to viewers who have more than one dog.

“Bruno is chill, goofy and likes being a couch potato,” their owner, who manages the canines’ Instagram account, told Newsweek. “As he grew, we realized that he got bored when he was not at day care, and because he is the perfect golden child, we decided to get a second Great Dane.

“[Luna] has a very opposite personality from Bruno,” they added. “She is very wild and follows and bothers her big brother all the time—she’s obsessed with Bruno but he always gets annoyed. Still, he loves her being around.”

Viewers online were able to catch a glimpse at the duo’s contrasting personalities and their love-hate relationship. The footage captured the moment when Bruno met Luna, which initially appeared to have led to some type of bond until the exuberant puppy started bouncing around her older brother.

The disparity in their energies became evident in later clips which show Luna trying to playfight with her sibling, while Bruno does his best to push her away.

“They have unique personalities and are super goofy together.” their owner said.

An overlaid text on the video read: “Let’s get Bruno a second dog so that he feels less lonely, but now he has zero privacy.”

One user, @tetrix, said: “Why do the new dogs have a need to annoy the established ones EVERY TIME! Gone through this twice in the last 3 years. So funny to witness.”

“Accurate. The amount of times I have to say ‘get her face out of your mouth’ is a lot,” one viewer, @muryyylynne, said.

“The second is always added chaos,” a third viewer, @bigbootymoosie, shared.
