CBS News reported that Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg and Jeff Bezos are all expected to attend Donald Trump’s inauguration on January 20.
Forbes estimates that they are worth $850 billion together.
CNBC was the first to announce their plans to attend President-elect Trump’s inauguration.
Musk is the richest man in the world. Trump has appointed him, along with Vivek Ramaswamy of the business world, to lead a temporary agency called the Department of Government Efficiency or DOGE.
Amazon (run by Bezos) is donating $1,000,000 to Trump’s inaugural funds and will stream it on Prime. This is another $1,000,000 in-kind contribution, according to sources familiar with these donations.
Zuckerberg’s Meta is the parent company of Facebook, Instagram and will also send $1 million to Trump’s inaugural fund.
Michelle Obama , former first lady, will not attend Trump’s inauguration. Her office announced this Monday.
