A pooch enjoying his very own “dogcuterie board” has captured hearts online, with fans praising his remarkably refined eating habits.
Corynn Robinson, 36, from New Jersey, known as @teagan.bleu on social media, shared a video of her golden Labrador retriever, Sammy, whose full name is Samuel Jensen Mayse, delicately indulging in a custom snack board—a sight that has garnered over 86,200 likes and more than 407,400 views on TikTok.
“I were enjoying a movie night with our own ‘dogcuterie’ board, and, naturally, Sammy wanted in,” Robinson told Newsweek. “So, I decided to make him his own, thinking it would just keep him entertained for a bit. Sammy and I went over to his snack bin, and he sat right beside me, watching as I put it together.
“When we got back to the living room, he was so excited, but I had him lie down before giving it to him. As soon as I set it on the floor, he grabbed a piece and ate it slowly, savoring each bite. He even paused to lick the peanut butter between snacks.”

As the video begins, Sammy, 7, looks expectantly at his curated treat. “I thought he would just wolf that down,” a man says as Sammy approaches the board. To which Robinson replies, “No, he’s a good boy.” Sammy then goes on to nibble his way through each little morsel, a picture of canine composure and charm.
In one sweet moment, Robinson asks Sammy: “You like your dogcuterie board?” The pup happily continues with his feast, much to the delight of viewers who flooded the comments section. Robinson captioned the video: “What a little gentleman.”
“Since he was a puppy, he’s always known how to bring me his water bowl when he’s thirsty; his food bowl when he’s hungry; or nudge his snack bin when he’s in the mood for a treat. He’s not very food-motivated, unless it makes him feel like part of the family—which is probably what was happening in the video,” Robinson said.
On Sammy’s snack selection were: two Beggin’ Strips, a few Milk-Bone Spooky Biscuits, Three Dog Bakery Quiche Bites, Nutro Crunchy Treats and a little bit of Pet Naturals Calming Peanut Butter.
“Barkcuterie” boards can be made using dog-safe ingredients such as apples, blueberries, carrots, and plain chicken.

Online fans couldn’t get enough of Sammy’s polite eating style. “Is he having a barkuterie board????” one viewer posted. Another commenter, Jess, humorously imagined Sammy’s inner dialogue, writing: “It’s delightful, mother. Thank you.”
Meanwhile, others shared how their own dogs might handle the situation quite differently: “My dog would eat the board and the carpet afterwards,” one user commented.
