We have reached Week 3 of the NFL schedule and the season is flying by. It seems like just yesterday that it was the opening weekend but we have seen some great performance thus far.
Each game means so much to the teams, with the matchups now potentially determining playoff seeding down the line. But who wins this weekend on the schedule of games?
Newsweek Sports has you covered with predictions for each game on the schedule for Sunday.
New York Giants @ Cleveland Browns
Both teams enter this game with some quarterback questions, with New York having much less confidence in their starter. Daniel Jones hasn’t looked great to open the year despite this being his likely last chance to prove to the Giants he should be the guy moving forward. Cleveland is dealing with their own issues, with Deshaun Watson still struggling. This game will likely be determined by whose defense steps up, giving the advantage to the Browns.

Chicago Bears @ Indianapolis Colts
We have a battle of two young quarterbacks trying to find their way. Caleb Williams said recently that he wants to fix the small mistakes he has made so far while Anthony Richardson needs to prove he can be the starter going forward for the Colts. Indianapolis enters needing a win to avoid going 0-3 while the Bears are looking to grab their second victory of the young season.

Houston Texans @ Minnesota Vikings
Not many expected this game to be played between two 2-0 teams but Minnesota has shocked a lot of people so far. Quarterback Sam Darnold has stepped up but will have a tough test against a talented Texans defensive unit. If he can help the Vikings get a big win at home against Houston, Minnesota will fully be taken seriously the rest of the way.

Philadelphia Eagles @ New Orleans Saints
Philadelphia dropped a heartbreaker on Monday Night Football so they will come into this game looking for some redemption. New Orleans has looked like one of, if not, the best team in the entire league so far. The Saints will need to prove that their ways can continue against winning teams in back-to-back weeks. This matchup could end up being one of the best from the weekend slate.

Los Angeles Chargers @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Both teams come in with a 2-0 record on the season, with each side winning games ugly. Pittsburgh’s defense has carried them while the Chargers’ running game has won the day through two weeks. The advantage goes to the Steelers with this game being in Pittsburgh but Jim Harbaugh will have his guys prepared for a battle. The biggest key will be the health of Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert in this contest.

Denver Broncos @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Denver has looked a little overmatched through the first two weeks of the season while Tampa Bay has picked up where they left off last year. Baker Mayfield has been performing very well early on, potentially putting himself into the MVP conversation. While it’s only been two weeks, the Buccaneers look like a legit team in the NFC.

Green Bay Packers @ Tennessee Titans
This could end up being the Malik Willis revenge game if he starts for Green Bay. Packers starter Jordan Love remains questionable for the game so Willis could end up getting his second consecutive start. Either way, Green Bay has to be favored heading into this contest, especially with the play of Titans quarterback Will Levis this season. If it continues, it could be a long season in Tennesee.

Carolina Panthers @ Las Vegas Raiders
The Panthers made the decision to bench Bryce Young for veteran Andy Dalton this week to see if they can grab some wins. If Dalton plays well, it could spell the end for Young in Carolina. The Raiders will be trying to make sure that doesn’t happen as they look to build off their upset win over the Baltimore Ravens from last week.

Miami Dolphins @ Seattle Seahawks
Miami comes in with Skylar Thompson under center, making their offensive attack a little worrisome. However, with Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle still on the unit, the Dolphins can’t be slept on. Seattle will have to contend with them as they look to get their third victory of the year. The Seahawks escaped with a win in the first two weeks but could have a tougher test with Miami this weekend.

Detroit Lions @ Arizona Cardinals
The Lions come in after a tough loss to the Buccaneers at home last week. They will try to right the ship but the Cardinals are playing very well. After almost taking down the Buffalo Bills on the road, Arizona stomped all over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 2. Quarterback Kyler Murray is playing at a very high level right now and the Cardinals are rolling.

Baltimore Ravens @ Dallas Cowboys

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – DECEMBER 08: Quarterback Lamar Jackson #8 of the Baltimore Ravens rushes past defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence #90 of the Dallas Cowboys during the fourth quarter at M&T Bank Stadium on December 8, 2020 in Baltimore, Maryland. Both teams come in after a bad loss last week, with Baltimore the most desperate of the two. Entering the year, the Ravens were seen as one of the best teams in the NFL but a 0-2 start has made some push the panic button. Dallas enters after a blowout loss to the Saints last weekend, and they will try to get back on track. This game could play a big role in the outcome of each team’s season moving forward.

San Francisco 49ers @ Los Angeles Rams
Both sides come in dealing with loads of injuries, taking away some of the interest from this game. However, this is a big NFC West showdown that could have implications down the stretch of the season. Los Angeles will be without both Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, putting a damper on their offense. San Francisco will be without Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel, with the possibility of George Kittle being out as well. The offense could come in short order in this matchup.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Atlanta Falcons
The Chiefs may be 2-0 but it hasn’t come easy. Kansas City won two nailbiters against the Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals at home, with many believing that the referees played a role in both games. They now head out on the road for the first time this season and face a Falcons team fresh off a win over the Eagles. If Atlanta can keep their offensive groove going strong, this matchup could get interesting.
