Tom Homan, the White House’s deportation chief, confirmed on Tuesday that the U.S. is on course to deport 600.000 undocumented migrants by the end the year.
Homan, speaking to Fox News, said that as more agents are brought on board, the number of arrests will increase by two or three times. You’re going see the numbers soar.
Homan said to an Axios reporter that “I’ve just counted from January 20th until now ….., under Trump’s Presidency, we’ll have over 600,000 Deportations by the time of the New Year.”
Homan told Axios 70% of those arrested had been classified as criminals by ICE.
Homan: 70% of those arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement are criminals. The other 30-35% are national security threats who have no criminal records.
Homan explained to Gibson that the data Congress receives is “behind”, and it’s “how you interpret the raw data.”
Homan said that many of those who are considered threats to national security have received final orders for removal and had already been subjected to due process. However, he did not confirm the number of people that fit this description.
Axios found that since Trump returned to office, the number in immigration detention facilities has increased by more than half.

HOLY CRAP! Tom Homan is adamant when asked whether he will increase deportations.
