The Trump Administration has issued subpoenas for Harvard University.
The subpoenas were issued for “information relating to criminality and misconduct by foreign students at the campus.”
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said to Fox News Digital, “We tried to make things easy with Harvard…we had to do it the hard way.”
The Department of Homeland Security of President Donald Trump (DHS), sent administrative subpoenas today to Harvard University over information related criminality and misconduct of international students on its campus.
The agency criticised the Ivy League schools’ “refusal” to provide information regarding the Student and Exchange Visitor Program at Harvard (SEVP), a program that provides visas to non-citizens who wish to study in the U.S.
Fox News Digital reported that DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said, “We tried doing things the easy way” with Harvard. We have to deal with the situation in a more difficult way because of their refusal to work together. Harvard has, along with other universities, allowed foreign students abuse their visa privileges to advocate violence and terrorism in campus.

According to the investigation, Harvard was “in some cases deliberately indifferent and in other cases has been a willing participant in antisemitic harassing of Jewish students and faculty.” The letter cited examples of Jewish and Israeli student being “assaulted” and “spit upon,” images on campus which it said “trafficked with obvious antisemitic tropes,” as well as what it described in the letter, an “unpermissible multiweek encampment,” that “instilled fear
