Marco Rubio is President Donald Trump’s new national adviser and secretary of state. Rubio has become a key figure within the administration and was selected for the White House position after Michael Waltz was removed as National Security Advisor following a number of missteps.
A White House official said to Axios that “the NSC is the ultimate Deep State.” Marco is up against the Deep State. “We’re destroying the Deep State.”
The restructuring will also see Andy Barker, who was the national security adviser to Vice President JDVance, and Robert Gabriel as the assistant to the president on policy, move into the role of deputy national security advisers.
