Donald Trump ended trade negotiations with Canada after an ad attacking tariffs.
Trump wrote: “The Ronald Reagan Foundation just announced that Canada had fraudulently used a fake advertisement featuring Ronald Reagan talking negatively about Tariffs. The $75,000,000 ad cost. “They only did it to interfere with the U.S. Supreme Court and other courts’ decision.”
He said that Canada cheated and was caught! They fraudulently bought a large buy ad claiming that Ronald Reagan didn’t like Tariffs when in fact he loved TARIFFS for our country, and its national security.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute criticized Canada for it and stated that they “review its legal options” in this matter.
His statement was made after the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute stated that the ad misrepresents an April 1987 presidential radio address Reagan gave, and that it was edited without his permission.
The foundation didn’t say what was misleading.
It encouraged people to listen uncut to a video of his speech on its YouTube channel. It said that it is also reviewing its legal options.
