Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season is almost in the books.
But before we turn our attention to Week 2, Monday’s Jets vs. 49ers matchup on Monday Night Football promises to finish an oustanding opening weekend on a high note.
Both the 49ers and the Jets (yes, the Jets) have a few players worth targeting on Monday night.
There are plenty of good options on the San Francisco side as we piece together our best Jets vs. 49ers Same-Game Parlay, but none better than Christian McCaffrey, Achilles/calf issue and all.
Since joining SF midway through the 2022 season, CMC has been a touchdown machine, and even if he’s not quite 100 percent in this game, we like that to continue.
In addition to McCaffrey on the ATTD market, we’re also eyeing the Jets to cover as 4.5-point underdogs and New York running back Breece Hall to find the end zone.
This three-leg SGP is priced at +472 as of Monday afternoon.

Jets vs. 49ers Best Same-Game Parlay
Best SGP for NYJ vs. SF: Jets +4.5 + Breece Hall ATTD + Christian McCaffrey ATTD (+472 at FanDuel)
Below, we’ll explain why we like the Jets to cover and both McCaffrey and Hall as ATTD plays.
This SGP’s price, +472, means a $100 bet would yield a $472 payout if everything goes according to plan.
Jets vs. 49ers SGP Leg 1: Jets +4.5 (-115 at FD)
As we explained in our Jets vs. 49ers betting preview, we’re bullish on a big start by a New York team that appears to have everything it needs to take a massive step forward in 2024. Is counting on Aaron Rodgers, at age 40 and coming off a torn Achilles, the safest bet you could come up with? No, not quite.
Still, the supporting cast he’ll have makes us confident in a strong showing by a team that has been excellent defensively but awful at QB in recent years.
Ravens vs. Chiefs SGP Leg 2: Breece Hall ATTD (+120 at FD)
There’s a good reason Breece Hall was a top-10 pick in just about every fantasy draft this season. Last year, Hall was effective as both a runner and a receiver despite the Jets’ lack of a passing game, particularly late in the season.
In fact, the third-year back was one of the best offensive players in the NFL from Weeks 16-18 in 2023. In that stretch, he gained at least 126 yards from scrimmage and had at least one TD in three games against the Commanders, Patriots and Browns.
His total numbers over the final three games of 2023 — four total TDs (three rushing, one receiving) and an average of 167 total rushing/receiving yards — make him a player to watch in Week 1 and beyond for an intriguing Jets offense.
As for his ATTD prop specifically, we like Hall tonight because of how effective he was in the red zone over the final five weeks a year ago. From Weeks 14-18, he scored five (three rushing, two receiving) of his nine total touchdowns (five rushing, four receiving) for the entire season, with TDs in four of five games.
The argument against Hall, the SF defense, is understandable. Several teams were able to run the ball on the Niners late in 2023, though, including the Cardinals in Week 15 (234 yards rushing, 2 TDs), the Ravens in Week 16 (102 yards, 1 TD), the Rams in Week 18 (109 yards, 1 TD).
All three of San Francisco’s playoff opponents also found success on the ground, as the Packers, Lions and Chiefs each ran for at least 130 yards on the 49ers. Somehow, San Francisco prevailed over Detroit in an NFC Championship Game in which the Lions ran for over 180 yards and three TDs.
So yeah, as long as the Jets’ O-line acquisitions are as good as advertised, Hall should have some running lanes tonight.
SGP Leg 3: Christian McCaffrey ATTD (-170 at FD)
McCaffrey could be a bit hobbled given his status as questionable on the injury report. He also will face a tough Jets defense, but we nevertheless like him to get in the end zone.
If there’s such a thing as a matchup-proof ATTD threat, it’s No. 23 for the 49ers, and we’re under the assumption that if he was unable to play at a high level, he wouldn’t be active for a Week 1 game against an AFC opponent.
CMS’s touchdown statistics as a Niner are well-documented at this point, but we’re going to spell them out anyway. Last year, McCaffrey scored a rushing or receiving touchdown in 13 of 16 games, for a total of 21.
In 2022, following a trade from the Panthers, McCaffrey scored in eight of 11 games as Niner while adjusting to a midseason change of scenery.
Even at short odds, a player who has cashed his ATTD prop in 21 of his last 27 games has our trust.
