Clark tied New York Liberty’s Sabrina Ionescu after she recorded 25 points and 10 assists for the fifth time this season.
Clark’s final stat line from her historic performance was 26 points, 12 assists, and five rebounds. It certainly wasn’t her sharpest game, given she also recorded nine turnovers.
Nevertheless, she helped the Fever win another game. However, Aliyah Boston was the star of the show against the Dream.

Boston posted 30 points and 13 rebounds, a testament to the talent on the Fever’s roster. Kelsey Mitchell also put up another 21 points and shot 50 percent from the field.
Indiana pulled off a 16-point comeback to avoid dropping back-to-back games at home.
“I think you saw a different team out there,” head coach Christie Sides said. “There were a lot of moments where they could’ve got really angry, let little things bother them, some calls, no calls. But I think they did a much better job of handling their emotions, not letting them get too upset of things that — just next-play mentality… that’s what they had… once we got going.”
Clark’s performance was also her 14th double-double of the season, a franchise record.
Indiana Pacer’s point guard Tyrese Haliburton was in the building to support Clark and the Fever Sunday.
Clark is just 52 points away from surpassing Seimone Augustus for the rookie scoring record. Augustus scored 744 points in her 2006 rookie season.
After Sunday’s game, Clark is currently at 692 games. The Indiana guard has four more games to swipe the record.
Even if Clark doesn’t claim the record, the Fever have already clinched a playoff spot, which is all that matters to the rookie.
“You don’t wake up and think about individual awards,” Clark told the media in August. “I know that’s what everybody thinks we do. That’s what everybody wants to make this about, but both of our teams are competing for playoff spots. That’s our main focus. That’s a selfish thing to just care about an individual award. For us, everybody can write that, but our focus is on winning basketball games. It’s simple as that.”
Though Clark might not be focused on winning awards or breaking records, she is still the favorite to win Rookie of the Year.
The Fever’s season has been extremely impressive, given the team clinched a playoff spot for the first time since 2016.
Many people speculated that Indiana would barely make the playoffs, and if they did, they’d merely trickle in. However, since the Olympic break, the Fever has emerged as one of the hottest teams in the league.
