The final hours tick away before Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump are set to square off in their first—and potentially only—debate Tuesday evening.
The debate will be held at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia at 9 p.m., and ABC is hosting the debate with moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis. The debate also marks the first time Harris and Trump will meet in person.
The highly anticipated debate can be watched on NBC, CBS, Fox and PBS in addition to ABC. Disney+, Hulu, and the ABC app will also stream the debate.
Gov. Tim Walz will join political engagements in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday and then will deliver remarks at 5:30 p.m.

Donald Trump Launches Series of Attacks on Kamala Harris Before Debate
Donald Trump has lashed out at rival Kamala Harris ahead of their much-anticipated first debate, set to take place on Tuesday night.
Getting some jabs in early, the former president launched a string of attacks on the vice president on his Truth Social site. For her part, Harris hit back by sharing some critical posts about Trump and releasing a campaign video on X (formerly Twitter) branding him a “liar.”

Sen. JD Vance appeared on the All-In Podcast to discuss the key drivers of American innovation, emphasizing how economic growth should be structured to ensure broad benefits for all.
“The real innovation of the American economy, it’s been in the world of software,” Vance said. “If you look at where the economy has been the most stagnant, it’s been basically the heavily regulated parts which is where 90% of the people I represent in the Senate and 80 percent of the people that I hope to represent as their vice president.”
Vance said he’d like us to “broaden the aperture” and think about innovation not just in terms of software, but innovation in transportation, logistics and energy.

Personality Expert Predicts Kamala Harris Will Win Debate Against Donald Trump
One personality expert is forecasting that Vice President Kamala Harris will come out on top in tonight’s debate against former President Donald Trump.
“I think Donald Trump’s team is going to hope that he sticks to policy. But the reality is, [he] is so big picture that he doesn’t have a tremendous amount of detail behind the policy,” Merrick Rosenberg, author of several books on the power of personality, told Newsweek.
He predicted Trump would provide few policy details other than “one-line statements,” turning instead to other topics.
