Two former NBA All-Star forwards and sharpshooters, Reggie Miller and Peja Stojakovic, are the new members of the FIBA Hall of Fame.

The Class of 2024 was inducted on Saturday at a ceremony in Singapore, the night before the FIBA Interconteinatl Cup Final. Miller and Stojakovic are two of eight members to make the FIBA Hall of Fame.
“This year’s Class included legendary players Miao Lijie (China), Reggie Miller (USA), Danira Nakic-Bilic (Croatia), Kirk Penney (New Zealand), Romain Sato (Central African Republic), Skaidrite Smildzina-Budovska (Latvia) and Peja Stojakovic (Serbia). The Class also recognized the coaching accomplishments of Dan Peterson (USA).”

FIBA Hall of Famer Andrew Gaze shared what this prestigious honor means to him.
“Being part of the FIBA Hall of Fame is not only about the wins and the losses. It’s not about the successes, it’s about a life-long commitment and dedication to our sport. Basketball is a powerful sport that can do extraordinary things, inspire, and change lives. The members of the Hall of Fame have been able to do that.”
Miller and Stojakovic made their name in the NBA, but have also been spectacular in the FIBA game.
Miller is a FIBA Basketball World Cup winner and Olympic gold medalist. Miller was a member of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 1994 in Toronto when the Americans put a team of NBA players on the court in the competition for the first time and went on to have an excellent tournament.
Miller was spectacular. He averaged 17.1 points per game and shot 52.6 percent from three, helping propel the USA to a title.
The former five-time NBA All-Star panned out a Hall of Fame career in the NBA, being inducted in 2012. Miller is as clutch as one player could ever be, especially in the brightest moments of the postseason as a member of the Indiana Pacers.
As for Stojakovic, he spoke at the ceremony in Singapore and was honored by the induction.
“If I had to say something to the young kids who are starting to play basketball, it’s this: whatever you are, no matter the circumstances you are in, don’t be discouraged,” Stojakovic said. “If you really love the game, keep working hard because probably someone is watching.”
Stojakovic was solid in his NBA career as he was named a three-time All-Star, a 2003-04 All-NBA second-team member, and a 2011 NBA champion with the Dallas Mavericks. Stojakovic is also a member of the Greek Hall of Fame.
