Singer Pink has addressed rumors she deleted posts on one of her social media accounts after Sean “Diddy” Combs’ recent arrest.
The “Get the Party Started” singer and fellow musician, Usher, trended on X, formerly Twitter, following the arrest of the music mogul in New York City on September 16.
Content creator Matt Wallace, who makes videos about the Dogecoin cryptocurrency, posted on X on Sunday questioning why the singers had deleted their posts.
“Usher just deleted all of his tweets. The Diddy tapes are about to send hundreds of celebrities to prison,” he wrote. Other people then joined in the conversation pointing out Pink had also deleted her posts on X.

Neither Usher or Pink have been accused of any crimes.
But now, Pink —whose given name is Alecia Beth Moore—has set the record straight on Instagram by sharing a screenshot of one of her X posts from February where she had written: “This account will self destruct in two minutes. Do it!!!!!!”
She captioned that Instagram post, “I don’t know why I became a headline this week, but I wiped my Twitter account on February 6!!! There is no truth to the rumors spread this week, and while I’ve met people in passing, I’m not associated with any of the people mentioned.”
Pink spoke about her decision to quit X at the time in February.
“I’ve had so many beautiful experiences on Twitter and made so many wonderful connections that I would never have had otherwise. But that’s not what Twitter is anymore…,” she wrote at the time. “Now it’s just a cesspool of unhappy people that go on there to dump. It’s just not good for your mental health.”
The singer described how she “did an experiment” where she “just (tweeted) a dot, a period” and received hateful messages like, “I hope you die slowly,” “You’re dumb,” and, “Did you mean to do that?”
“But, for the most part it was just absolute hatred. I was like, yeah, I need to remind myself and other people that you do not need to participate in any of that, and I’m just not going to participate anymore,” Pink added.
Prior to those posts she had written: “Have you ever been at a party with a bunch of salty old people that never realised [sic] their dreams? Where the liquor ran dry ages ago, there’s no music-no one’s dancing-you would’ve had more fun at home with your blind cat?
“That’s twitter these days – or whatever it’s called now. Byeeeeeeeeeee.”
Combs was arrested in New York on racketeering conspiracy; sex trafficking by force, cause or coercion; and transportation to engage in prostitution charges.
He remains in jail in Brooklyn after his bail request was denied twice.
The rapper’s indictment came after his homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in March as part of a sex-trafficking investigation.
The 54-year-old, who pleaded not guilty, is being held on suicide watch in the Special Housing Unit of the detention center in the New York borough. The center has previously held well-known criminals such as R. Kelly, Allison Mack and Ghislaine Maxwell.
A trial date for Combs’ case has been set for October 9.
