Former President Donald Trump, the GOP presidential nominee, announced Thursday that he will meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday.
During a press conference at Trump Tower in Manhattan, New York, Trump said on Thursday, “President Zelensky has asked to meet with me, and I will be meeting with him tomorrow morning at around 9:45 in Trump Tower.”
Zelensky has yet to confirm the meeting, and just yesterday, three sources familiar with Trump’s campaign schedule told Reuters that the former president did not plan to meet with Zelensky during his trip to the U.S.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
