New York Jets linebacker Quincy Williams was visibly frustrated after the disappointing loss to the Minnesota Vikings, so much so that he called for the entire Jets organization to take accountability for the current state of the team.

The Jets lost to the Vikings 23-17 on Sunday in London. The game began with a 17-point deficit for New York.

“Taking accountability from the top to bottom, that’s the main thing,” Williams told Jeane Coakley of SNY. “People got to start taking accountability. People are getting tired of hearing the same thing.”

The Jets had the opportunity to score the game-winning drive but failed to capitalize on the opportunity. Instead of getting the game-winning touchdown, Aaron Rodgers threw his third interception of the game.

Rodgers finished with 244 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions. Rodgers completed 29 of 54 passes. One of his three picks was returned for a score by Vikings linebacker Andrew Van Ginkel.

“In a game where you lose by six, plays like that are exponentially highlighted,” Rodgers said. “Three turnovers for me is definitely out of character, and I’m disappointed.”

The Jets now sit below .500 with a 2-3 record. Garrett Wilson, No. 1 wide receiver for the Jets, also expressed his frustration.

“We need to find a way to win,” Wilson said. “At the end of the day, it ain’t about me and him getting on the same page… we gotta win games… The ultimate goal is winning, whatever it takes to get there.”

Jets running back Breece Hall also echoed his teammates’ desire to win.

“I mean it is what it is, at the end of the day I just want to win… If you don’t run for 100 yards people will think you suck,” he said.

Jets head coach Robert Saleh said the team hasn’t found the silver lining yet of their heartbreaking loss.

“You’re always going to find silver linings after a loss, we are not ready to talk about them right now, but I do appreciate the way that our guys continued to battle,” Saleh said via the team transcript. “They fought throughout and gave ourselves a chance. We were right there with a chance to go score a touchdown at the end of the game to win it and unfortunately, that didn’t happen.”

The Jets will look to get back to .500 when they host the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.
