New Orleans Saints defensive end Cam Jordan believes the greatest quarterback of all time is Drew Brees. Jordan shared his hot take on the St. Brown Podcast.

“[Drew Brees is] the best quarterback of all-time,” Jordan said. “There’s nobody who has the completion percentage that Drew has. There’s nobody that has the most 5,000 yard seasons that Drew has. It took Tom Brady an extra two years to break [Brees’ record]. If you’re talking about accomplishments, yes Tom Brady. If you want to look at stats, pat you stats, because Drew’s got that. When he left there were so many records, so many that he owned. Now after he retired Tom Brady played another two years, and broke most of them I believe.”
Jordan played with Brees from 2011 until he retired in 2021. It’s evident the defensive end has some bias for his former teammate.

Jordan is the franchise’s all-time sack leader. He is a cornerstone for the Saints organization and one could make the case that Jordan is the greatest defensive player for the New Orleans franchise.
There is a high possibility the 35-year-old will retire with the Saints.
“I’ve had the awesome pleasure to play a part of the Saints for so long,” Jordan said. “They’re the team that drafted me. And then you talk about the organization in itself, Mrs. Gayle Benson, top down, it’s just an excellent organization. I can’t speak for everybody’s story, I just know my story has been nothing but…they shoot straight and let me know exactly where I’m standing. Some people don’t get that.”
Jordan heaped high praise for the organization he’s spent more than a decade with.
“I know that if I got up top ask a question, the question gets answered,” Jordan added. “I know that if I have an event, they show full support. I’ve been everywhere in New Orleans talks to kids, schools, whatever, giving my heart to the city and the city show so much love back. I couldn’t really imagine leaving or starting over again.”
Jordan’s father, Steve, also played for a single team throughout his NFL career, the Minnesota Vikings. Jordan could very well follow in his father’s footsteps and retire with the Saints.
As for this season, New Orleans has a 2-3 record but has already put on an impressive performance early this season. The Saints’ next test will be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
