Billionaire Shark Tank star Mark Cuban will be helping the Vice President Kamala Harris campaign throughout key swing states for the final stretch of the election.

The reality TV investor will be joining the vice president for rallies across Wisconsin, a key state this election, as the campaign pushes for momentum in the final weeks of the race.

Cuban has been a longtime supporter of Harris and has openly criticized former President Donald Trump throughout the 2024 election, but this marks the first time that he has joined the campaign formally.

In addition to Wisconsin, the Pennsylvania-born billionaire will attend events in Arizona and Michigan over the weekend, in what the Harris campaign hopes will be a boost to undecided voters in the Midwest.

The star’s first appearances alongside Harris will happen on Thursday, at rallies in Milwaukee and La Crosse.

Cuban has repeatedly slammed Trump’s economic policies, saying that the former president “still thinks it’s 1965,” when it comes to manufacturing policy.

In a clip that was shared by the Harris campaign’s social media team, Cuban said: “It’s obvious he has no idea what it takes to manufacture any advanced product, car or otherwise.”

Earlier in October, Cuban told Newsweek that a second Trump term would be much worse than his first, and that business leaders preferred the stability that a Harris administration would offer.

Cuban said: “They know that Kamala is far more stable, open minded, she has done a great job communicating with business leaders, she is not an ideologue, she takes feedback from Republicans, independents and more.

“She has also been clear that she will support and deploy new tech (…) That’s been a big plus.”

The collaboration comes as the Harris campaign has attempted to tap into popular culture to reach new audiences. The vice president’s media blitz, which involved appearances on podcasts like Call Her Daddy, and radio interviews with Charlemagne Tha God, continued with an appearance on Fox News on Wednesday, which resulted in a contentious sparring with host Brett Baier.

Harris is not alone in bringing in billionaire collaborations at this stage in the race. Trump recently embraced the support of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who endorsed the Republican candidate after his attempted assassination in July. When he returned to Butler, Trump hosted a joint event with the SpaceX founder and owner.

Newsweek has contacted the Harris campaign via email for more information about the collaboration and Trump’s campaign team for comment.
