It’s a busy time for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. The pop hitmaker is currently on the last few months of her Eras Tour and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end is gearing up for NFL season. But while the two are apart, Travis, 34, still makes time to provide emotional support to Swift, 34, and his father, Ed Kelce, is here for it.
Taking to Facebook on Tuesday, August 13, Ed — who has used his personal account to comment on Travis and Swift’s romance before — shared an article about how Travis is supporting his girlfriend after Swift’s Vienna shows were canceled due to a terrorist threat.
While neither Swift nor Travis have commented directly on the Vienna events, an insider reported to The Sun that Swift and Travis have been in constant communication since the incident.

“Travis contacted Taylor very fast and talked with her for a while to show support and see how she was feeling with that tense situation,” the insider said in the article shared by Travis’ father. “You can tell that he was helping her feel better and made her laugh, to make this situation and the day she went through end up on a more fun note. He always wants to make her laugh, and he loves to hear her laugh and feel good. After a day that intense and this scary situation, he was doing everything to make her feel better.”
While both of their schedules are busy, Travis is constantly alert, ready to take Swift’s calls.
“He has one of his phones always right next to him when he goes to sleep in case she needs to talk to him, and they did spend some long hours on the phone yesterday as it’s not a common situation to deal with, and he always wants to be Taylor’s rock and best fan and number one supporter whatever happens,” the source claimed.
This isn’t the first time Ed has shared communications about the couple via his personal handles. Earlier this month, Ed responded to Kanye West name-dropping Swift and Travis on Vultures 2, his new collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign.
Throughout Ed’s feed, fans can see him share news updates on his sons — Ed and ex-wife Donna Kelce are also the parents of retired Philadelphia Eagles Center Jason Kelce — as well as their boys’ significant others (Swift and Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce).
