Damaging Story on Trump Likely Coming Out in ‘Next Couple Days’—Advisor

A senior advisor to Donald Trump‘s campaign has said other negative stories about the former president are likely to come out in the coming days after a former swimsuit model alleged Trump groped her more than than 30 years ago

Stacey Williams, 56, detailed the allegations during a Zoom call on Monday organized by Survivors for Kamala.

She accused Trump of groping and sexually touching her in an incident in Trump Tower in 1993 while Jeffrey Epstein—who was found dead in his jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges—watched, according to The Guardian newspaper, which first reported on the allegation. The newspaper said it spoke with two of Williams’ friends, who said she had told them about the incident years ago.

Trump campaign press secretary Karoline Leavitt called the allegation “unequivocally false” and alleged that “this fake story was contrived by Kamala Harris‘ campaign” to harm Trump two weeks before the 2024 election.

In an appearance on CNN‘s The Situation Room on Thursday night, Trump advisor Bryan Lanza suggested that further negative stories about Trump would emerge in the coming days, orchestrated by the Democratic Party.

“We’re two weeks within the election,” he told host Wolf Blitzer. “You get a lot of these fake things coming out. You know, we’ve addressed this. You’re going to have something come out in the next couple of days, I suspect, and then something coming out next week.”

He added: “This is a long playbook that the Democratic Party has done and they try to come up somebody at the last minute to try to distract from the fact that they have yet to make their case of why Kamala Harris would have to actually be president.”

Williams told NBC News on Wednesday that her decision to come forward was not made in conjunction with the Democratic Party. She also said she had not had any communications with Harris campaign.

The Harris and Trump campaigns have been contacted for further comment via email.

Lanza also said Trump would not be publicly addressing the allegation.

“He doesn’t need to,” he said. “We’re going to move on. We’re going to talk about the issues that matter to the American people, which is immigration and the economy.”

Alencia Johnson, a senior advisor to Harris’ campaign who appeared on The Situation Room alongside Lanza, pointed to the long history of sexual misconduct allegations against Trump. She also noted that a jury had found Trump liable for sexual abuse last year. Trump has denied all allegations.

Asked by Blitzer what the impact of the latest allegation could be, Johnson said: “It crystallizes this question… how are you okay with a man who actually has been found liable for all of this? If there are lists and numbers of women that continue to come out and talk about how they have been assaulted by this man, how are you going to actually justify voting for someone like that?”

Survivors for Harris “are women who have said enough is enough,” Johnson added. “And I think this also gives permission to independent and Republican women that are actually tired of this dangerous culture that Donald Trump has ushered in.”

Lanza said the “dangerous culture is anytime we get close to the election, the Democratic Party is going to find an activist, the super activist we found out to come out with an allegation.”

When Blitzer pointed out Trump’s history of allegations, Lanza said there was also “a history of women making these things up.”

“We saw this in 2016 that a lot of women came forward and none of the evidence came forward,” he said.

“How dare you?” Johnson responded. “How dare you trivialize women’s experiences and say that we do not—we make these stories up, because that is not true.”
