Prolific music producer Metro Boomin has been accused of rape in a new lawsuit.
The 31-year-old, whose give name is Leland Wayne, is being sued by a woman who alleged he sexually assaulted her after she consumed alcohol and a Xanax to help her cope with the death of her nine-month-old son.
Vanessa LeMaistre filed the lawsuit and claimed she was living with depression at the time she met Wayne during a trip to Las Vegas in the spring of 2016, according to TMZ which obtained the legal document.
LeMaistre alleged that the producer and songwriter then invited her to hang out with him at a music studio in Los Angeles where she claimed he misused codeine against the advice of his friends.

It was on that night that LeMaistre said she took half of a Xanax pill and a shot of liquor to help her cope with the death of her infant. She said she blacked out and when she regained consciousness, she was in a bed in a different location and also alleged she found Wayne to be having sex with her and performing oral sex.
Wayne reportedly told LeMaistre they were in a hotel room in Beverly Hills but she had no recollection of how she got there.
The woman later learned she was pregnant and said the baby was Wayne’s because she had not had sex with anyone else. LeMaistre terminated the pregnancy in 2016.
She also alleged that Wayne referred to the alleged rape the following year in a song he featured on called “Rap Saved Me,” and featured rappers 21 Savage, Offset, and Quavo. The lyrics which LeMaistre said allegedly refer to the incident included, “She took a Xanny / Then she fainted / I’m from the gutter … ain’t no changing.”
LeMaistre is suing for unspecified damages for mental pain and anguish and punitive damages.
Newsweek contacted Wayne’s representatives and lawyer by email on Wednesday morning for comment.
Wayne’s lawyer, Lawrence Hinkle, denied the allegations in the lawsuit.
“This is a pure shakedown. These are false accusations. Mr. Wayne refused to pay her months ago, and he refuses to pay her now. Mr. Wayne will defend himself in court. He will file a claim for malicious prosecution once he prevails,” Hinkle told TMZ.
Wayne began his producing career when he was 16 years old and has worked with the likes of The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Future and Kendrick Lamar.
He has been nominated for three Grammy Awards, and recently made headlines when he joined in the heated feud between rappers Drake and Lamar.
Wayne seemed to side with Lamar and releasing an instrumental version of the diss track, “BBL Drizzy” in May which played on rumors that Drake had the cosmetic surgery procedure known as a Brazilian butt lift.
