Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, is scheduled to appear at a campaign rally in Milwaukee tonight alongside Cardi B and Flo Milli as part of the “When We Vote We Win” event series.

The 2024 election is now days away as Election Day is on November 5, and Harris and former President Donald Trump, the GOP presidential nominee, are locked in a dead heat race to win the White House.

What Time Is Harris’ Milwaukee Rally?

The rally will begin at 6 p.m. CDT and will last until 10 p.m.

Where Is Harris’ Rally Being Held?

The vice president’s rally will be held at the Wisconsin State Fair Park Exposition Center.

How to Watch Harris’ Milwaukee Rally?

The rally will be available to watch via C-SPAN. Harris’ previous rallies have been available to livestream through the official Harris YouTube channel, X, formerly Twitter, account, and PBS, but there has not been confirmation it will be broadcast on those platforms at time of writing.

Who Else Will Appear at the Rally?

Cardi B will appear at the rally as guest speaker. The Bronx-born rapper is one of the biggest names in hip-hop, with an Instagram following of 165 million and over 30 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker has a long history of endorsing Democratic candidates, having supported Senator Bernie Sanders, a Vermont independent who caucuses with Democrats, in 2020 and later supporting President Joe Biden in the same election, and she often address social and political issues on her social media channels.

Cardi B’s endorsement comes after she told her followers back in 2023, “I’m not endorsing no f****** president no more,” following an announcement that there would be a 5 percent budget cut to public services in her home city of New York.

She declared on social media in June 2024 that she will “Never turn Republican,” despite her criticism of Biden, and expressed support for Harris in a live Spaces session on X. She spoke about the “disrespect” she believed Harris was facing and said that “the way y’all disrespect her, makes me like her.”

The rally will also feature musical performances from GloRilla, Flo Milli, MC Lyte, The Isley Brothers and DJ GEMINI GILLY.

Why Does the Rally Matter?

The rally comes at a critical juncture for Harris, with the campaign now in its final days.

According to an email from the campaign, the “When We Vote We Win” events series is “focused on mobilizing voters in key battleground states to turn out the vote for Vice President Kamala Harris, Governor Tim Walz, and Democrats across the states.”

“These artists and public figures are trusted voices for millions of Americans, who listen to their music, follow them on social media, or otherwise are inspired by them,” the email said.

Wisconsin is a crucial battleground state in this year’s election and is key in the race to the White House.

The latest national polling averages from 538 put Harris ahead of Trump by just over 1 point (48 to 46.8 percent), with the candidates the closest they have been since August when Harris led Trump 47.9 percent to 46.8 percent. According to 538, Harris is leading Trump by 0.7 points (48.1 to 47.5 percent) in Wisconsin as of Friday morning.

The Milwaukee rally will give Harris an opportunity to speak to voters in the swing state and deliver the final message of her campaign as she looks to win over undecided voters and mobilize support.

What Are the Issues to Look Out For?

Harris is likely to emphasize the closing message of her campaign and highlight the differences between herself and Trump. She is likely to address key issues for voters including the economy, immigration and reproductive rights.
