Brittany Mahomes is toasting to 29 with an intimate bash that’s all smiles and sparkle. On Saturday, August 31, the expectant mom took to Instagram to share a peek into her pre-birthday bash — complete with close friends, her NFL star husband, Patrick Mahomes, and a cake that’s almost too pretty to eat.
With her special day falling just as the summer winds down, Brittany made sure to savor the moment. She kicked off the celebrations a day early, on Friday night, surrounded by her nearest and dearest at a chic spot that was decked out for the occasion.

In one of the snaps shared to her Story, a photo — captioned, “Birthday dinner with my girlies 🤍” — captured the former soccer star’s friends, Melissa Mathews and Lyndsay Bell, with big smiles under shimmering balloons shaped as the number 29. The image also showed special menus gracing the table that appeared to have “Britt’s Birthday” written on them.
Next in the birthday girl’s story was a sweet snapshot: their dinner table, softly lit by candlelight, blooming with flowers, capturing the cozy yet festive atmosphere. “And my lover 🤍,” she added over the photo, tagging her beau.
The third and final birthday snap brought the dazzle up close with a shot of Brittany’s show-stopping cake. Decked out in cream frosting accented with sweeps of purple and delicate gold leaf, it featured candles making up the number 29 with several lit sparklers on top.
Just before her birthday celebrations, the co-owner of the Kansas City Current opened up on the WHOOP podcast about the joys and juggling act of her expanding family. She’s gearing up not just for birthday candles and balloons but for another big adventure — welcoming their third child. [We’re] excited to have another little kiddo running around our house causing chaos,” she shared.
Brittany and Patrick, 28, tied the knot in Hawaii on March 12, 2022. Their new bundle will join their daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son Patrick “Bronze” Lavon, 21 months.
