The NBA has fined the Philadelphia 76ers for a hefty amount.
The NBA fined the 76ers $100,000 for public statements about the health status of All-NBA center and 2023 NBA MVP Joel Embiid.

Last week, it was announced the NBA would be investigating the 76ers for Embiid’s player participation. Although the league didn’t find anything peculiar about that, they did find that the public comments did not reflect his health status.
