A video online has shown the timeless power of music as a couple danced together to a live performance of their wedding song.
Krista Guggia, 41, posted a video of her sister and brother-in-law enjoying their wedding song at a Lonestar concert. The adorable video, which shows her brother-in-law, Jason, running to his wife when he hears their song play, has gone viral to the tune of 1.7 million views.
Guggia spoke to Newsweek about capturing the moment, and how her sister was afraid it might not even happen.
“When you were hanging out at the beer booth and Lonestar starts playing your wedding song,” Guggia captioned the video, which shows sister Missy’s husband running to her at the sound of the band’s song, “Amazed.”

In the clip, the couple hug and dance together as the song builds.
Guggia told Newsweek that Missy and Jason had just celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary in May. Lonestar was playing at their local county fair, and Missy was excited to hear her their wedding song live. That’s when things got a bit risky with timing.
“It was about halfway through the concert, and Jason went down to get a beer and ran into some friends and was hanging out for a bit talking,” Guggia said. “That’s when the song came on and Missy looked at us with a pouty lip and said, “Ugh, he’s going to miss it.'”
Determined to lighten the mood, Guggia and her younger sister began dancing with her.
“We were all a little disappointed in him and couldn’t believe he was going to let her down knowing she was looking forward to this,” she said.
But that feeling didn’t last long.
“That’s when we looked down and saw him through the crowd making his way towards her, then walking faster and faster before he reached the steps up to our section in the stands—and started running to her,” Guggia said. “That’s when I started recording and caught this sweet moment.”
‘Love at First Sight’
Guggia said the couple met when Jason was 18 and Missy was 20.
“It was pretty much love at first sight for Jason, and he started pursuing her right away, but Missy was hesitant because he was a little bit younger,” she said. “He found out that his friend’s sister did Missy’s nails, found out when her next appointment was, and sent her a huge bouquet of red roses to her appointment.
“That melted her heart and the rest is history!”
As the couple comes up on nearly two decades of marriage, Guggia said she most admires how dedicated they are to one another.
“They’ve never let anything or anybody come in between them,” she said. “They always have each other’s backs through thick and thin. They have that real, lasting kind of love and I think this video shows that perfectly.”
