The Daily Caller News Foundation learned that four House Democrats who rushed to El Salvador in order to defend a deported illegal immigrant suspected of criminal links stayed at a luxury hotel offering panoramic views of El Salvador’s lush greenery.
Maxwell Frost, Robert Garcia, Maxine dexter, Yassamin ansari, and Yassamin ahnsari, Democratic Reps. from Florida, Oregon, California, and Arizona, traveled to San Salvador on April 21, to lobby for the release a reputed MS-13 gangbanger Kilmar abrego Garcia. A source familiar with their accommodations informed the DCNF that they stayed at the Hilton San Salvador. This luxury hotel is situated in a beautiful setting against the backdrop of the volcano.
The San Salvador Hotel offers rooms with views of the landscape in the capital and an outdoor terrace, where guests can dine and drink margaritas while enjoying local cuisine. According to Hotels.com, the hotel offers a “tranquil getaway” for those who are looking for comfort and convenience. Google rates this property as a 5-star hotel.
The House Republicans’ campaign arm criticized the four Democrats harshly for taking a tropical vacation during a recess in Congress when legislators are allowed to spend time in their districts.
Kilmar Abrego Garca was not present at the meeting between Kilmar Abrego and the lawmakers.
According to the Caller newspaper, the lawmakers didn’t meet the suspected gangster during their trip in El Salvador. Reports also stated that the lawmakers’ request to send a delegation of official members of Congress to El Salvador was denied. They noted that taxpayers would be responsible for the cost if their request had been granted.
The Democratic Party puts American citizens at the bottom of its priority list.
