New York Giants owner John Mara made a big announcement Wednesday night regarding the futures of head coach Brian Daboll and general manager Joe Schoen.
Mara, who was speaking at the premiere of “The Duke: The Giant Life of Wellington Mara,” said he has no plans to make any changes during or after this season. He said he’s committed to both Daboll and Schoen, and has confidence in them turning things around in New York.
“Obviously we’re all very disappointed with where we are right now,” Mara said. “But I’m gonna say one thing: We are not making any changes this season. And I do not anticipate making any changes in the offseason, either.”
He preached patience in this process of turning around the Giants.
