A man’s sweet gesture after proposing to his girlfriend has won the hearts of viewers online.
His new fiancee, known online as Ellie Sue, shared the moment to TikTok under @whatsnewelliesue on July 29. The brief yet poignant moment, which saw Ellie Sue’s fiance take a step back to let her celebrate her engagement and ring with her friends and family before rejoining her, has been viewed more than 3.7 million times.
Viewers online were able to see the newly engaged couple entering their garden where family and friends eagerly await to celebrate their engagement. Walking down a flight of stairs, the couple are all smiles, but notably, they do not enter hand in hand.
Instead, Ellie Sue’s fiance, whose name has not been disclosed, steps back gracefully, allowing his fiancee to take center stage. Ellie Sue, clearly radiant and ecstatic, moves forward to show off her engagement ring, while her fiance stands off to the side, smiling proudly. The creator said that the footage had been captured 30 minutes after she was proposed to.
