‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Star Announces Major Life Update

Whitney Leavitt and her husband Conner Leavitt – stars of Hulu‘s Secret Lives of Mormon Wives – just revealed the newest addition to their family.

The couple’s rep recently confirmed in an interview with People that they welcomed their third child, son Billy Gene Leavitt, on Wednesday, October 24. “We are most excited about having our family complete. We’ve always wanted three kids and we’re so happy everyone’s here now,” Whitney, 31, told the publication through her rep.

The now mother of three later explained that while she and her husband typically wait until they meet their baby to choose a name, this time they did things differently. “We fell in love with the name immediately — even before meeting him,” she said, adding, “we loved the gender neutrality in the name since we weren’t finding out the baby’s gender until delivery, which we’ve never done before.” The reality star went on to reveal that the name allowed them to “feel connected to the baby without knowing the gender.”

The newborn joins brother Liam, 2, and sister Sedona, 4, who “thought they were having a baby sister,” according to Whitney. She stated that despite being upset about not being able to pick the baby’s gender, the kids “warmed up to [Billy] quickly, and now all they want to do is hold their new baby brother.”

The news comes months after the reality star announced this pregnancy on the first season of the Hulu show by baking her positive pregnancy test into a cake — a reveal seen as controversial by viewers at the time for sanitary reasons. Leavitt later confirmed that she and her family actually ate the cake after the news was delivered, adding that she “Cloroxed the heck out of [the test]” before placing it in.

In her last scene of the first season Whitney said, “My parting words for MomTok? Good luck without me.” She later admitted that she wanted to leave the show to “focus on [her] family,” and “on what [she wants their] future to be.”

The TikTok influencer has seemingly changed her tune since and confirmed that she will be back for season 2 of Mormon Wives. In a video shared on her Instagram on October 4, Whitney sent her co-stars (some of which are Taylor Frankie Paul, Demi Engemann, Jennifer Affleck, Jessi Ngatikaura, Layla Taylor, Mayci Neeley, and Mikayla Matthews) a text via a group chat that read, “Excited to film season 2 with all of you I know there’s tough conversations ahead but I look forward to our journey together.”
