Singer Al B. Sure!, legally known as Albert Joseph Brown, is suspicious about the death of his ex, actress Kim Porter.
The singer wrote a series of Instagram posts in which he formally requested “an investigation into an entire group of individuals who worked at or around the residence of Ms. Kimberly Porter.” He tagged several law enforcement authorities, including the FBI, Department of Justice, and CIA.

Porter, who was married to Brown and shared a child, Quincy, with him, has become a subject of conversation since a book called Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice from the Other Side… was published on Amazon on September 6, 2024. The book alleged to be a memoir constructed from Porter’s diary entries, and after Porter’s other ex, Sean “Diddy” Combs, was indicted on a variety of sex crimes charges, music producer Chris Todd felt it was “safer to come forward” and admit that he published the book.
In his post, Brown said that the “publicists who assisted drafting” the book should be investigated. “It has come to my attention that these persons were also instructed to steal her computer and mobile devices, which contained her ‘original book notes.'”
Porter’s friend, Ebonie Elektra, also created an Instagram reel disparaging the book. “THERE IS NO BOOK! There never was,” she wrote in the caption.
In addition to questioning the authenticity of the book, Brown alleges that Porter’s death was not due to pneumonia, but was in fact murder. “The individuals involved in this matter may also be connected to also concealing the alleged murders of several prominent artists,” he wrote.
Brown went on to allege that Porter was targeted in order to prevent her from speaking out against Diddy. In Brown’s opinion, Porter was “taken […] before she could complete her true thoughts before this FAKE Unauthorized EDIT.”
Brown referenced Diddy’s other ex, Cassie Ventura, who Diddy was caught on video physically attacking, in saying that Porter was likely intentionally silenced. “It is evident that her potential to expose the realities of her personal abuses, being drugged, the #SexTrafficking and #HumanTrafficking she was privy to, akin to the brave actions of Mrs. Cassie Ventura, posed a threat to those profiting from such heinous activities,” Brown wrote.
Diddy is currently in jail after being denied bail, on charges of trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. His lawyer Marc Agnifilo, has said that Diddy is going to “fight this with all of his energy and all of his might and the full confidence of his lawyers.”
