Diggs was running a route and appeared to make a move that might have done something to his right knee. He immediately fell to the ground and was grasping the injured leg.

After Diggs hit the turf, training staff immediately ran out to tend to him. The good news is it appears that Diggs was able to walk off on his own power, but that kind of non-contact knee injury is always concerning.
It is likely that Diggs will be removed from the rest of the game so that he does not aggravate whatever knee ailment he just received. The best-case scenario is that he just simply tweaked the knee and could return sometime later in the game. However, he might have also suffered a sprain of some sort.
This is just speculation, but if Diggs did suffer a sprain, he would presumably be out for some weeks while he heals.
Diggs is now heading to the locker room, where is likely to undergo more tests on whatever injury he just suffered. The good news is that he is walking off on his own power.
Had the training staff had to help him off the field or the cart came out, then the concern for Diggs would have certainly been elevated. For now, it appears the injury might not be as severe as initially thought when he collapsed to the turf.
Diggs has been a wonderful receiver for C.J. Stroud and the Texans. Through seven games, the star receiver has secured 415 yards and three touchdowns.
Diggs joined a high-powered offense that already included Tank Dell, and Xavier Hutchinson, along with running back Joe Mixon.
The Texans were one of the biggest surprises of 2023, as they secured 10 wins and handily beat the Cleveland Browns in the Wildcard Round of the 2023 Playoffs. They would lose in the divisional round to the Baltimore Ravens, but they established themselves as a tough and dynamic team under DeMeco Ryans.
The Texans have continued that same excitement in 2024, securing a 5-2 record on the season. They are looking to pick up their sixth win of the season, but they will presumably have to do so without Diggs.
