We are into Week 5 of the NFL season. Somehow it feels like the year just started but we are now in the thick of everything.

There are a lot of good matchups on the docket for this weekend. But who wins each game?

The staff at NewsweekSports has you covered and made predictions for each game on the NFL schedule for Week 5.

New York Jets @ Minnesota Vikings

This game will be played in London and could be one of the best of the week. Aaron Rodgers gets a chance to face Minnesota, a team that he is very familiar with from his time in Green Bay. The Vikings have looked like one of the better teams this season and getting a win over the Jets could help solidify that. Both sides will want to make a statement but only one can grab the win.

John Robinson: Jets

Eva Geitheim: Vikings

Valentina Martinez: Vikings

Ricardo Sandoval: Vikings

Jeremy Hanna: Vikings

Carolina Panthers @ Chicago Bears

The Panthers have looked much better in recent weeks with veteran starting quarterback Andy Dalton under center. Carolina will look to bring that energy with them to the Windy City. But Caleb Williams and the Bears will be ready. The Chicago offense has looked a little more consistent in recent weeks, providing them an avenue to win games other than just by the backs of their defense.

Baltimore Ravens @ Cincinnati Bengals

This could be the best game of the weekend simply based on the rivalry between the two teams. Baltimore looks like the team that many expected them to be after a shaky start to the year. The Bengals grabbed their first win of the year last week and will try to defend their home field against a division opponent. Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow said it best, there is no margin of error against Baltimore. If the Bengals want to win, Burrow will need to bring his A-game.

John: Ravens

Buffalo Bills @ Houston Texans

This could be a potential playoff preview. Both teams are expected to be contenders in the AFC and both come in with a record of 3-1 on the year. Buffalo will be without wide receiver Khalil Shakir, putting more emphasis on others to step up. Houston will be without running back Joe Mixon and they’ve seen their running game disappear since his injury. This will be a statement type of game in Texas on Sunday.

Matt: Texans

John: Texans

Eva: Bills

Indianapolis Colts @ Jacksonville Jaguars

Is this the game in which Jacksonville gets their first win? Surprisingly the Jaguars are the last winless team of the year. It’s been a strange year for them but going up against an injured Colts team could be the recipe for success. Indianapolis will have to win this road game without star running back Jonathan Taylor which could cause some issues. The Colts may have some issues unless the Jaguars’ struggles go even deeper than anyone thinks.

John: Colts

Eva: Jaguars

Valentina: Colts

Ricardo: Colts

Miami Dolphins @ New England Patriots

Miami has struggled heavily since quarterback Tua Tagovailoa went down with injury. The offense has looked pretty bad and they have shown no sign of life on that end of the field. The Patriots defense will be the key in this game. If they can contain the Dolphins’ offense again, their own offensive attack should be able to do enough to grab the win.

Matt: Patriots

John: Patriots

Eva: Patriots

Valentina: Dolphins

Ricardo: Patriots

Jeremy: Dolphins

Cleveland Browns @ Washington Commanders

Washington enters this game on a high after two big wins in a row. The Browns come in with a record of 1-3 after another poor showing. Quarterback Deshaun Watson has struggled and it’s hurt this team’s offensive attack. However, the Browns still have a talented roster that can push the Commanders in this game.

Matt: Browns

John: Commanders

Eva: Commaners

Valentina: Commanders

Ricardo: Commanders

Jeremy: Commanders

Las Vegas Raiders @ Denver Broncos

Both teams come in with a record of 2-2 so whoever wins will jump the other in the AFC West. The Chargers are on a bye this week so this could end up being a big game down the line in terms of seeding. Denver has played much better after two shaky first weeks. Las Vegas is dealing with some injuries to key players that could impact this outcome heavily.

Matt: Broncos

John: Broncos

Eva: Broncos

Valentina: Raiders

Ricardo: Broncos

Jeremy: Broncos

Arizona Cardinals @ San Francisco 49ers

The Cardinals have been a little better than people expected but they are still showing signs of weakness. The defense is a problem and the offense hasn’t been consistent. Going up against the 49ers, it could be a big challenge. San Francisco got back in the win column last week and will look to do the same thing against a divisional opponent in Week 5.

Matt: 49ers

John: Cardinals

Eva: 49ers

Valentina: 49ers

Ricardo: 49ers

Jeremy: 49ers

Green Bay Packers @ Los Angeles Rams

The Packers almost upset the Vikings last week but fell just short. They now have a matchup against a banged-up Rams team on the road. Green Bay will try to get their season back on track with starting quarterback Jordan Love healthy now. Los Angeles will need to pick up the pieces in this game otherwise it could be a very long season for them.

Matt: Packers

John: Rams

Eva: Packers

Valentina: Packers

Ricardo: Packers

Jeremy: Packers

New York Giants @ Seattle Seahawks

The Giants will be without star wide receiver Malik Nabers as he remains in the concussion protocol. New York will put more emphasis on quarterback Daniel Jones in this one but Seattle’s defense has been great against the pass this season. The Seahawks may be the most underrated team in the NFL this season, sitting with a 3-1 record.

Matt: Seahawks

John: Seahawks

Eva: Seahawks

Valentina: Seahawks

Ricardo: Seahawks

Jeremy: Seahawks

Dallas Cowboys @ Pittsburgh Steelers

This is a famous matchup based on history but the game may not be as exciting. Dallas is dealing with multiple injuries to their team and star pass rusher Micah Parsons has been ruled out. Pittsburgh is never an easy place to play, especially in a night game setting. The Steelers will look to grab their fourth win of the year behind starter Justin Fields.

Matt: Steelers

John: Steelers

Eva: Cowboys

Valentina: Cowboys

Ricardo: Steelers

Jeremy: Steelers
